We are very pleased to welcome our official sponsor for this year’s Camberley Rooftop Film Festival – Surrey Clinical Research Centre.

Surrey Clinical Research Centre (SCRC) is a core human research resource within the Faculty of Health & Medical Sciences, University of Surrey; it is one of the world’s renowned centres on sleep, vaccine research and patient studies. They have a prestigious track record of over 15 years’ experience undertaking clinical trials in both volunteer and patient populations.

SCRC are a specialist clinical pharmacology unit housing a 12-bed ward and 12 individual bedrooms in a purpose-designed building, adjacent to the Royal Surrey County Hospital. Since 1999 they have provided industry-leading services to pharmaceutical companies for trials at all stages from Phase I, first-in-human, through to Phase IV patient trials.

As well as investigating new treatments at the Surrey Clinical Research Centre, they may also have studies involving approved prescribed medications, or have trials where no medication is involved where we are looking at other variables, such as sleep deprivation.
