**Fringe Events**
Along with the concerts from Lau, The Vienna Festival Ballet and Fairport Convention, There will also be plenty of free live music across Camberley town centre on June 4th with bands Vinyl Staircase, The Luxe, The Hallucinations, Sun Circus and The Sheratones all playing. Times and venues to be announced soon.
Camberley Theatre will also be hosting some fringe events, including:
On Thursday June 2nd at 7pm in CTs bar:
A recording made of The New Jazz Orchestra, recorded at the Highwayman Pub in Camberley in 1966, featuring Jack Bruce (of Cream / Eric Clapton fame) and John Hiseman (Collisium) will be pressed up onto a vinyl acetate and played in the theatre bar. This will be the first time this music has been heard in public since it was recorded in 1966. Gearbox Records will also be giving a talk.
1966 is also the year that the Camberley Theatre opened and so this is incredibly poignant.
During the afternoon (time TBC) of Saturday June 4th, Camberley Theatre will be holding a poetry slam.
Organised with Hammer and Tongue, this event will dust off any preconceptions you may have about poetry! More details soon.
Tickets can be purchased in person, online at [Camberley Theatre](www.camberleytheatre.biz) or by calling the Box Office on 01276 707600.
