To celebrate Camberley’s military heritage and the centenary of World War I, Collectively Camberley and the businesses of Camberley Town Centre have joined forces with National scheme ‘Heroes Welcome’ to provide discounts to Armed Forces and their families when they visit the Town Centre.

The scheme will be launched in conjunction with Armed Forces Day on Saturday 28th June 2014. Participating businesses will be displaying a ‘Heroes Welcome in Camberley’ window sticker and their discounts can be found on the Collectively Camberley website.

Being a part of the scheme is a way for the town’s businesses to express appreciation for the British Armed Forces and inform them they will be able to enjoy the benefits of a Heroes Welcome in Camberley.

The Town Centre recently played host to the RMA as Surrey Heath Borough Council granted them the Freedom of the Borough, allowing them to parade through the Town Centre for ceremonial occasions.
