Colourfully Camberley blooms with the arrival of the hanging baskets!

Camberley Town Centre is soon to be bursting with colour thanks to the return of the Collectively Camberley summer floral project.

The project has been expanded from last year to include **118 hanging baskets, barrier baskets and flower towers**. Additional baskets have been provided around Main Square car park and Pembroke Walkway courtesy of Surrey Heath Borough Council.

With summer starting to hint of its arrival, the Collectively Camberley Team have a selection of brightly coloured flowers; including bee friendly varieties too!

BID Manager, Lucy Boazman said;
*’The arrival of the flowers was a welcome sight after what seemed like a very long and wet winter. This year’s floral project has been further extended thanks to the contributions from all businesses as part of the towns Business Improvement District (BID). The flowers are funded by the businesses of Camberley Town Centre and it’s a fantastic way to show off the Town. With the 2016 events programme soon to begin we are really looking forward to a great summer in Camberley.’*

The displays lining Park Street, High Street, Obelisk Way, Princess Way, Pembroke Broadway, Knoll Road – as well as the A30 – will be in place from end of May until late September.

Collectively Camberley are the team behind the Town Centre business improvement district (BID). Funded by and working for the businesses of the Town Centre, their aim is to make Camberley a destination of choice for shopper and visitors as well as a vibrant location for businesses and residents alike.

The team organise and host the annual Camberley Car Show, which is set to return Saturday 3rd September. Bigger and better than ever, the team look forward to showcasing more classic and vintage cars, free face painting, street theatre and a whole host of activities throughout the day.
