Frogmore Junior School takes charge of The Mall!

Stores, jobs and duties at The Mall were taken over last week by Frogmore Junior School, as they visited the shopping centre and took control for one day only.

On Wednesday 11th February, Year 5 pupils from the Camberley school found out about running The Mall, as part of National Children’s Commissioner’s Takeover Day.

Throughout the day, the schoolchildren shadowed teams including the General Manager and Ask Me Point staff, to find out about running The Mall, and how each job supports The Mall in day-to-day business.

The pupils, age 9 and 10, also took a tour of The Mall, discovered what it’s like to work in a busy shopping centre and retail environment, plus help to plan and design posters for The Mall’s Easter events.

We really enjoyed answering all their questions as they discovered the shopping centre, and will take on board all their comments, as well as looking to implement their fantastic ideas for our Easter events.”
