Shows include Captain Cauliflower and Marvin the Mischievous Moose, Jay Forman’s Disgusting Songs For Revolting Children, Mama G’s Story Time Roadshow and The House That Jackson Built. Ticket prices will be affordable at £10 and under.
There will also be workshops, ranging from learning circus skills to youth theatre classes.
Andy Edmeads, Camberley Theatre’s manager:
‘We are super excited to be moving into The Square temporarily and bringing this new and exciting pop-up venue to the town.
The last 12 months or so have been devastating for the Theatre industry and it’s been great to have this positive and fun project to work on and bring something really different to Camberley.
Squish will welcome some fantastic family shows, with two performances every Saturday, plus midweek classes for parent and baby plus toddler sessions and after school workshops and events for older children. Kids and families are at the heart of Squish and we look forward to welcoming audiences new and old, big and small to this venture and our usual venue soon.’
Squish opens on 18th May and will run until 31 July. The opening hours are Tuesday to Saturday 9:30am – 4pm.
