Star studded superheroes and villains fly into The Square Camberley
Finding entertainment for the kids during the half-term breaks can be challenging, especially when youre on a budget! But shopping neednt be boring for the kids, with The Square Camberley continuing to accommodate all the familys needs with a host of free and fun activities taking place at the centre during school holidays!
During the May-half term, The Square welcomed hundreds of families to take part in their jam-packed list of events seeing children enjoy creating their very own Unicorn and Monster arts and crafts with Mrs Potts Place on Monday 27th May.
On Tuesday 28th May, families enjoyed settling down for some relaxing storytelling sessions with Camberley Library, with the following day seeing lots of little shoppers try out some new moves with Camberley Judo Clubs introduction to Judo masterclasses.
Explore Learning were then on hand, teaching the magic of words and numbers to little shoppers on Thursday 30th May.
After a week of fun filled activities, on Saturday 1st June The Square was invaded by the famous superhero Batman and his impressive Batmobile plus film star villain – The Joker.
Children couldnt contain their excitement to meet the popular superhero and villain, with many dressing up in fancy dress to replicate their idols. Little shoppers couldnt believe their eyes to see the Batmobile located in the centre itself, with families posing for pictures next to the iconic car.
The Square also welcomed shoppers to take part in their free superhero themed arts and crafts, which saw children turn into their own crime fighters by creating their own facemasks, swords and keyrings.
Joana Santos, Marketing Manager at The Square Camberley, said: Our May-half term events proved to be a great success, seeing families enjoy spending quality time together whilst taking part in a variety of activities. On Saturday 1st June we welcomed Batman, the Batmobile and The Joker who entertained our younger visitors throughout the day.
