Surrey Heath Business Awards 2015

**Following the success of the first Surrey Heath Business awards held in early 2014, once again Surrey Heath Borough Council will be recognising the great people and ideas that keep our local economy thriving.**

It’s free for all Surrey Heath businesses to either enter themselves or nominate others. There are six categories in total:

**New Business** – Spotlighting new and emerging businesses.
Has your new business hit the ground running? Are you offering new
and innovative services? What are you doing to ensure your business achieves its potential?

**Developing Talent** – Recognising businesses that provide opportunities for personal development.
Do you offer unique and outstanding opportunities through training, apprenticeships, mentoring or community support schemes?Is this having a positive impact on your business?

**Marketing Success** – Creative and innovative marketing with measurable results.
Have you introduced new or innovative ways to promote or improve products or services? Has your service impressed or exceeded customers’ expectations? Has this seen an increase in sales or output?

**Social/Environmental Responsibility** – Recognising organisations who take responsibility towards the community and the environment.
How do you sustain commitment to helping and supporting the communities you operate within? What efforts are made to protect the environment?Surrey Chamber of Commerce Logo

**Surrey Chambers of Commerce Best Export Business** – Businesses large or small showing growth through exports, bringing investment to the borough.
Is international demand for your services growing? Has this resulted in increased business growth, profit or market share? Sponsored by Surrey Chambers of Commerce.

**Best Village or Rural Business** – Recognising businesses located within rural or village areas.
Can you demonstrate bold, imaginative enterprise, as well as sound management practices? Are you showing sustainable growth combined with a commitment to get involved with and support your village or local community?

Judging will take place in early March.

The shortlisted candidates will be invited to the awards ceremony at the **Surrey Heath Business Breakfast on Friday 20 March** at the Camberley Theatre. As well as a specially commissioned award, each winner will receive a certificate and be promoted through various media channels, including Heathscene magazine, the council’s website and social media.
