The Square celebrates out of this world Easter with free events
The Square Camberley celebrated an exciting Easter holidays free for families to enjoy with their ‘Space Fest’.
From Tuesday 2nd April to Friday 12th April, The Square, located in the heart of Camberley, saw Space Fest land for two weeks of fun for little ones to enjoy. An educational trail saw young explorers traverse around the centre in search of space stations andfinding answers to mind-blowing questions in exchange for a special prize. Who knew Astronaut Tim Peake once trained locally at Sandhurst!
Alongside the trail were a series of free activity workshops in Central Squarefor families to enjoy. Workshops saw little ones unleash their creative talents, making jet packs out of recycled materials, and painting rocket money banks and alien fridge magnets to take home.
The actitivies saw hundreds of children flock to The Square to enjoy the activities alongside shopping trips to the centre, which boasts a range of High Street favourites and unique independent traders offering a wide range of delicious food outlets for some rest and relaxation.
There was also an out of this world selfie opportunity to appear on the moon as an astronaut located in Cambridge Square visited by 7000 people!
